Background

An education professional since 2003, I began my career as a Secondary qualified English teacher after completing a PGCE. I soon realized that, like myself, many of my students were neurodiverse and had ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and other co-morbid conditions. I made it my goal to enable these students to achieve their considerable potential.

After gaining Accredited Teacher Status with the British Dyslexia Association in 2011, I worked with undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Chester as a specialist tutor/mentor. I then moved into Further Education, where I taught students with a wide variety of additional needs, including mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. In 2020, I completed a MA in Advanced Education Practice, focusing on ADHD and self-image. Contact me today to learn more about the services I can offer you.
